Do you have rooms in your house that are connected, but you wish you could treat them like separate rooms? Building a whole new wall can get spendy. That's why I've found an easy fix. Go out and buy a wall divider! There are different styles and lengths. Do you want to completely block off the two rooms? If so, go buy a few of the same and connect them. Personally I've put one with three sections on one end of the wall so it looks divided but you can still get through to the other room efficiently. You can find different styles that can match the theme of your rooms. Now not only are they there for a purpose, but also look like they are part of the decorations.
